I love how Bob was like, 'he got himself into a full count and had to challenge him with a fastball'. Well when you throw a low 90's fastball that's as straight as a string, every single one is a challenge. Ugh,

The Cards can embarrassed the Dodgers 3-4-5 hitters on 4 pitches, and Gregg can't shut down the Padres in the ninth?

Yes. If Fuld had been playing LF (not that he was available, he pinch hit earlier) that might have been caught, or at least it might have held Eckstein at 3rd.
