The 3-4-5 of LA, the best team in baseball, going down on 4 pitches in the 9th against Trever Miller and Ryan Franklin, for the Dodgers' 4th loss in 5 games against the Cardinals.

 

I almost laughed as I typed that. It's a joke.

The Dodgers made the Cardinals throw 4 whole pitches in the 9th inning. Miller got the first guy and Franklin got Manny on the first pitch and Casey Blake on 2 pitches. The Dodgers looked like the Cubs tonight. Bases loaded in the first and only get one run. Then they had a run in and a guy on 2nd with no outs and couldn't score anymore. I bet they are a lot more patient against the Cubs bullpen.

I kinda of though Geo and Demp had flukish seasons, which had a lot to do with us having 97 wins. There is something about that Dodgers team that screams 1st round exit.
