Guillen calls Cubs fans stupid

Once again, the reason that the Cubs have better attendance than the White Sox is that Cubs fans are "stupid". Of course it has nothing to do with the fact that the Cubs have more fans.

 

"Because our fans are not stupid like Cubs fans," Guillen said. "They know we're (expletive)."

 

Guillen said Cubs fans will go watch any game at Wrigley Field because, "Wrigley Field is just a bar"

And last week before the series at Wrigley he ripped Wrigley as usual and he said: "I don't say nothing about Cubs fans, the front office or the players".

 

So he WAITS to go to the Cell before talking his trash about Cubs fans. He's full of crap and puts the D in douche. The inferiority complex that permeates through the entire organization, right down to their fans is pure gold. LOL!!!!!

I hate to tell Ozzie this, but the pack that he runs with ain't the brightest colours in the crayon box. Ozzie needs to realize that even bringing a championship to Chicago, he and the rest of the White Sox will always be considered "the other Chicago team" no matter how much it pisses him off. If he doesn't like it, then leave Chicago.

Yes being insulted shouldn't bug anyone, even coming from someone like him.

 

While I agree with him, it's funny coming from that source and his primary source of interaction (locker room). I would say the avg IQ of a person in the 21-40 age group in this forum is likely higher than the players on the Sox and any MLB team, although I'm sure there are exceptions.

Every team has a segment of fans who will just come out to the ballpark to get drunk watching a 90 loss team. The Cubs just happen to have more of them, and more watering holes in the immediate area to facilitate those kinds of fans.

 

The media loves to get these kinds of comments every year, it gets people riled up and sells papers.

 

Come on, Ozzie. Rip on Cub fans again for us.
