Maybe they should hire a pitching staff.

You quite literally took the exact words I was about to post verbatim out of my mouth. Their pitching is a horrendous mess. Their offense is actually pretty good, they just need to stop trading for outfielders. Better yet, trade one (or two) of them for pitching depth! Yay! Being a GM is hard marbles

Yeah, but you haven't spent your whole life playing the game so you don't know what you're talking about.

I've also never been deeply involved in an international scandal involving skimming money off of prospects.

Clearly, I am unqualified.

let's beat the nats to the punch. Fire lou hire Jim.

No, hire Manny Acta

LOL

Manny Acta is actually M.A.N. eACTA, the black-ops code-name for the Mechanized Algorithmic Numerical (internet-ready) Actionable Computation Techno-Automaton. When his "contract" runs out with the Nats he is going to be launched into space. We are weaponizing space. Deal with it, China.

I miss FJM :(

I'd love to get Acta in our system to be a bench coach down the line. I don't know if he spits enough nonsesne to the media/his players to work as a manager, but he actually knows what the hell he's doing strategy wise.

should just rehire Frank Robinson. He actually won 81 games with them.

And if nothing else, him falling asleep in the dugout fits quite perfectly with the Nationals theme of ineptness this year.

glad Jim is back in the ML, wait sory forgot the Nats are AAAA. Never realy blamed him for the losig year we had, it was an injury filled year

I think Riggleman was the best Cubs manager in recent memory. He got a raw deal.

The Nationals continue to be poorly run in more ways than one. The fact that they are actively looking for his replacement while he is on the job is really sad.

I think you're giving them a bit too much credit.

This organization has no class. Wonder if the organization would be more professional if they had Jeff Loria at the helm.

I know, just trying to be kind, why kick a team while they are down, unless it is the cardinals

Sad thing is, I'd bet just about everything that I own that the Washington Nationals will win a World Series before the Chicago Cubs will.

That's a stupid bet.

I'm sure someone said the same thing about the Diamondbacks and Marlins when they were expansion teams and being terrible.

He might not own very much.
