I think there is a chance if Moore decides to make an appearance. He's been absolutely invisible. I am glad that we saw less of Bade today. He spends more time fixing his shorts than he does watching the play develop.

Missouri really needs some bigs. I know Safford is hurt, but even with him, their frontline is really questionable. Any word if that 5* big they landed will qualify?

 

I haven't heard anything suggesting Mitchell won't qualify. I've heard Anderson is still recruiting another big, but I think Stone or Underwood transferring or Green going to prep school(he shredded his knee a month or two ago) is a more likely reason.

 

Mizzou needs to shoot better than 10% from 3 if they're going to beat Kansas. That's all there is to it.

 

On a more bitter note, Kansas remains the only team in the Big 12 to out-FT their opponents on the road. Other teams lose about 10 net free throws going from road to home, Kansas gains a couple.

Yeah Moore is the key. If he is on we are capable of beating the top teams still. If he is off we will struggle with teams like Penn State. That's the difference with Hummel out. Before we had three stars. One could have an off night and we would still be capable of beating almost all teams. Now both Johnson and Moore need to be on for Purdue to be able to hang with top 15-20 teams.

Seriously? I'm so sick and tired of people trying to make a racism story where there isn't one. Knee-jerk overreactions like the university considering a required diversity course just because two people did something stupid (and physically harmless) and somebody not being able to wear a pterodactyl suit because people may think it resembles a black KKK suit are ridiculous.

 

Oh, and if Aldrich had to play by the same set of rules as everybody else he wouldn't be near as dominating. 6 total team fouls in the second half? Come on. There was so much hacking going on in the first half during the big kU run and no fouls were called on Kansas. The reason they got that run is because Mizzou abandoned the 3 because they were missing and they started driving. However, nearly every possession the shooter was fouled and no fouls were called. At the same time Aldrich was allowed to go over the back and walk at the other end.

You can sit there and pretend the game gets called differently for KU, or you can acknowledge that you shot 13% from three, 35% overall, and have a bunch of glorified rec center bigs who can't compete with a legit college front line.

 

 

We shot 52% from the field. 50% from 3pt. We had a zillion points in the paint. We're better than you. By a lot. So you're going to have to play a lot better than that to beat us.

Big XII refs are some of the worst homer refs, but not against kU.
