Allen talking post-game about how he fells bad about all the shots he missed. I'm not sure how to feel about that, given the way he played.

Ray Allen's awesome.

I probably hate him the least of all the Celtics right now. Scares the bejeezus out of me.

Rondo should be suspended because Dwight Howard got suspended for the same thing Rondo just did and Rondo added the "shove" into the scorestable.

You can argue that Howard's elbow was unprovoked and that Rondo's elbow was retaliatory, but that whole series of events definitely would merit Rondo getting the boot from Game 7.

Bloodied Brad Miller, tripping Kirk Hinrich in Game 5, and playing spin-a-rama with Hinrich in Game 6. I am not detective, but I call that a pattern. The NBA better have a helluva spin doctor on the payroll to try and sell Rondo's "Attack" on Hinrich as nothing more then the two players "getting tangled up." If the Bulls are smart, that DVR game should be sent straight to Stern, and demand that action should be taken. I swear to god if the NBA tries to sweep this under the rug, I hope the media goes to town on him.

There has been zero discussion on ESPN of Rondo being booted for game 7. It doesn't seem like a consideration. I think the NBA will say the issue was settled on the court w/ the flagrant 1.

ESPN sucks.

I'm watching the replay and I've got to say the crowd was pretty awesome tonight. I'm sure Rondo probably helped that with his punkass behavior early on though.

I actually think the NBA's going to suspend Rondo.

I'll give it a 20 percent chance, and that's being optimistic. They wouldn't call his foul a flagrant even retroactively, so I don't know how they'd move to kicking him out of the biggest first-round game this year.

Yeah but they couldn't do that because they'd have been admitting that their referees screwed up.

This foul has a MUCH better chance of getting Rondo suspended than the Game 5 foul.

They admitted their mistake by suspending Dwight Howard, who only got a technical for the original elbow. I know Howard was suspended for a Game 6 and Rondo would be suspended for a Game 7, but it's not as if the NBA didn't just admit on Wednesday that it's referees made a mistake.

You know the NBA called them up and told them to downplay the whole Rondo thing. I just got home so I haven't seen SportsCenter yet but there's no way that whoever was talking about the game is so stupid as to completely neglect something like that without being instructed to do so. I'm not a huge ESPN fan, but that play obviously stands out.

They did discuss it when I was watching. It was during their little "three guys sitting at a table segement" with Jalen Rose. The one ESPN anchor (sorry, I don't know all the names because I rarely watch ESPN) asked Rose if he though Rondo might get suspended and Rose pretty much said no way, the refs took care of it in game and kept it from escalating so there was no reason for further punishment. He said that Rondo is lucky that the elbow he threw when Hinrich came after him missed because obviously if that had connected he would be facing major punishment. So while they don't support the suspension I think to say they completely neglected it would be unfair. Also, I think most non-Bulls fans would argue against him being suspended if for no other reason than they want to see both teams at full strength for an epic game 7, so I think Jalen Rose's comments are fair.

Sadly, I didn't really care what happened in this game after a certain point. I spent 4 hours of my life watching a basketball game! I just wanted the game to be over. I'll be a nervous wreck for game 7.

That game was great....even my wife and in laws, who typically could care less about this stuff sat there through the overtimes watching that game. So exhausting.

Did I miss something? Why might Rondo be suspended?

Nah, I've copied and pasted this link and will post it every page.

You know what? I didn't realize how bad this was last night. Rondo had Kirk's arm from inside the 3-pt line and flung him out of bounds about a foot away from the sideline. He literally dragged him about 10-12 feet, and then flung him into the scorers table. If he was just trying to get him off of him, he could have thrown him down at the 3pt line, but I think it's pretty clear his goal was to get Hinrich to hit the scorer's table.

There's no reason Rondo should be playing tomorrow night's game.

That's not the vibe I'm getting from the people I talk to, but again, I don't think Lakers fans (the majority of the people I've talked to are Laker fans) can be fair when it comes to the Celtics.

All I can say about this series is "Wow."

What's the line on game 7? I'm going to go out on a limb and say "Boston by 0"

Bulls only chance in game 7 is if Rondo's suspended which is probably 50-50 itself.

Uh....no?

The Bulls hadn't beaten the Celtics in the postseason in franchise history, and yet the Bulls have beaten the C's three times this postseason.

At this point it wouldn't surprise me if Rondo is suspended (and after bloodied Miller, and tossing Hinrich around, HE SHOULD since it seems he is allow to have free regin to do whatever he damn pleases) or not suspended. I want him to play cause when the Bulls beat the C's in Boston, I don't want no bellyaching from KG and the rest of those punks.

LOL the bolded meant utterly, positively, and absolutely nothing.

Ray Allen was killing me last night. He's a bad, bad man.

He's the Celtic player who I respect the most. He just goes out there and hits all kinds of shots, never cries & whines for foul calls, keeps his mouth shut.

The rest of the Celtics are a bunch of whiny bitches.

Rondo's a wussy punk.

I agree with this post pretty much 100%

Every time I want to say something bad about Shuttlesworth, nothing comes out.

I did like him better when he played for mostly terrible teams, though.

As much as he deserves it, I don't think there's any way Rondo is suspended for Game 7.

I agree, but you never know. Amare and Diaw was inexplicable. I was surprised D12 got suspended, too, even though he probably deserved it.

I'd like to see another angle to see the ref's angle on the play to see how Hinrich's arm got in there in the first place. I know nobody wants to consider this, but it's possible Kirk locked his arm with Rondo first to stop him from getting around the box out to the 3 point line.
