The Bulls hadn't beaten the Celtics in the postseason in franchise history, and yet the Bulls have beaten the C's three times this postseason.

 

At this point it wouldn't surprise me if Rondo is suspended (and after bloodied Miller, and tossing Hinrich around, HE SHOULD since it seems he is allow to have free regin to do whatever he damn pleases) or not suspended. I want him to play cause when the Bulls beat the C's in Boston, I don't want no bellyaching from KG and the rest of those punks.

Tell me, I'm not the only Bulls fan who DVR'd this game from start to finish? Cause no matter what happens in this series, I plan on watching this game a few more times. And quickly....how long till ESPN puts this game (and series) into their Instant Classic series, if it is not there already?

I'll give it a 20 percent chance, and that's being optimistic. They wouldn't call his foul a flagrant even retroactively, so I don't know how they'd move to kicking him out of the biggest first-round game this year.

Yeah but they couldn't do that because they'd have been admitting that their referees screwed up.

 

This foul has a MUCH better chance of getting Rondo suspended than the Game 5 foul.

Weird...they said Rondo wasn't ejected because he didn't throw a punch. C'mon, isn't grabbing someone's arm spinning them around and tossing them into the scorer's table just as bad? I mean, that move had nothing to do with playing basketball, it was a complete cheap shot aimed at taking Kirk out of the game, or at least somehthing that he decided to do in the heat of the moment out of frustration. Playoff series or not there is no place in basketball for that crap.

 

That said, I don't think they'll suspend Rondo for the game. Complete BS but they won't.

 

I got back from the game a little while ago. Best sporting event I've ever been at. I don't even care the Hawks and Cubs lost tonight. I'll worry about that later when I come off this high.

Suspending Rondo for Game 7 would've indicted the refs for not punishing Rondo more than they did. Probably at least on the same level as the flagrant controversy. I really don't think Rondo gets the axe, which is unfortunate because Allen will never score 51 points again.

Allen talking post-game about how he fells bad about all the shots he missed. I'm not sure how to feel about that, given the way he played.

Rondo should be suspended because Dwight Howard got suspended for the same thing Rondo just did and Rondo added the "shove" into the scorestable.
