I'm too lazy to read through 14 pages of disagreements, so does anyone know how Rich is doing?

He hasn't got into a game yet because of an elbow that has been giving him problems.

Could they theoretically just send him back to us?

Yup. I know Jimmy Anderson was sent back to us to complete the trade where we sent him to Boston. That was back in 2004, I believe.

If that was part of the original agreement, yes.

He's too mentally weak to deal with such unclear transactional boundaries

I believe I was the first one to say he had an elbow injury way back last March or April.

The first one in a particular thread? Or on this board? Or in the entire world?

Please specify your level of prescient genius so we can gaze upon you with the proper amount of reverence and awe.

Where you hearing that from Tim? Here's the latest update from MASN:

http://masnsports.com/2009/03/your-daily-rich-hill-update.html

Hill says he's going to play catch today. He'll make 25 throws from 60 feet and see how his elbow responds the following day.

"I feel good," he said. "This will move along quickly."

Why would they have him out throwing if they thought it was serious enough for Dr Andrews?

but "do you know why this is a stupid post, or do you need me to explain it to you" is perfectly acceptable, apparently.

One is criticizing the post, the other is criticizing the person. If you have a problem with how the board is moderated, please send a PM to a moderator, 1908, or Tim. I don't want this thread to become any further derailed.

Looking at the context of the post you're talking about, you're probably right actually. Nonetheless, that doesn't make this one any more appropriate.
