If Florida beats Alabama, they're going to be #1 in the Harris and AP Polls. They will be number one or two in the Coaches Poll. They will not, however, be in the BCS title game.

 

I bet they would.

 

It'll be close. They have a lot of room to make up in the computers to catch the Longhorns, and Alabama isn't liked all that much by the computers.

 

FWIW: The SEC has a BCSish tiebreaker system like the Big XII. Yay or nay for it: 'if the top two teams are within five spots of each other in the BCS standings, "the head-to-head results of the top two ranked tied teams shall determine the [title game] representative."'

wait, is he saying that florida could win the sec title game and NOT play in the national championship game? that can't be right.

I will be here. I won't chicken away, but I will be here gloating about a Alabama victory. The better team will win and Florida is not the better team. Nick Saban will have his boys prepared and ready to go, and Alabama will methodically wear down Florida, and physical hurt the "pretty boys."

 

Let's put it this way....if Florida isn't up 14-21 points after the first quarter, they will not win. People fall in love with Urban Meyer and the gimmick offense, but you tell you a secret, Nick Saban's "defense" (and ask vance, people cause he would know, also) eats gimmick offenses for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

 

Learn the names of Rolando McClain and Don'ta Hightower, cause there is NOT a better LB duol in college football. You heard.

 

 

You will be hearing this on Saturday night.

 

USC would beat Alabama by 30.
