I doubt its as simple as saying " He said he's good with being traded to the cubs so just do it if you can, if you need me give me a call." True i see your point in that. There is an article on Mlbtraderumors.com saying that Peavy might be attracted more to the yankees now that they have CC. According to the article Axelrod said peavy might be interested in the yankees if they got CC. I wonder how long it will take before a NY post or new york writer posts an article saying that Peavy is considering the yankees or that the yankees are making a push for peavy. Its annoying but NY fans act like their teams are the only ones in the planet.
