Will Tebow make it to the 2nd half? Man... I cant wait.

Ok but for real. Sorry for a Florida question... But If you are Tim Tebow, even if you are having a bad year (which he is not) but wouldn't you still vote for yourself in the Heisman? I know I would.

Gary Danielson said he asked Tebow that on Friday and Tebow said he hasn't thought about it with a grin.

Verne said that Tebow had told him he would make an educated vote and that if he felt he was playing better than anybody else he wouldn't rule out voting for himself.

Northwestern and Iowa both win, then I get pissed that Iowa (8-4) goes to a better bowl than NU (9-3) despite having a worse record and losing the head-to-head.

Hopefully Minnesota takes care of business.

Student tickets to the OU/TTech game are going for $100 on the secondary market and I'm poor right now. Should I buy one and go to the game or not?

I've been nervous about the Central game since about 10 minutes after last week's game ended. Everything great that's happened the last two and a half months is made moot if CMU beats us - them winning would clinch a MAC West title for them and relegate us to possibly another trip to Toronto and the International Bowl. Dan LeFevour is gimpy but he still terrifies me.

Having seen both teams win at IU, Ball State is definitely better. Of course, LeFevour didn't play that game -- testament to the futility of a Bill Lynch led team -- but the overall talent still seems to favor Ball State from my view.

I think Ball State is the better team and would win at home or a neutral site. However, the game is at CMU; hopefully BSU is enough better to overcome that.

There's a chance that there could be a three way tie for the MAC West. Not likely, but if BSU beats CMU this week, then next week CMU beats EMU and BSU loses to WMU then BSU, CMU, and WMU would all be tied with one conference loss. And since they will all be 1-1 against each other under that scenario I'm not sure what the next tiebreaker is.

Sweet, Tennessee gets to lose to Vandy this week. Luckily, it'll be in Nashville and the Commodores won't get another win at Neyland.

Jonathon Crompton will start this week for the Vols at QB with freshman B.J. Coleman as the backup. Obviously, I'm hoping Crompton plays well, but if not I definitely want to see if Coleman can complete passes.

And the latest rumor (likely BS) for new UT head coach is Titans defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz. Things are getting silly.

I wonder how Texas fans feel pulling for OU this weekend...

I was just fixing to comment on this. Go OU . But not by much, may just win by 1 if you can.

Cuse (wherever he is) should love this. Syracuse Head Coach Greg Robinson has been fired.

Robinson, who will coach the final two games of this season, is 9-36 overall and 3-25 in the Big East in three-plus seasons. He had another year left on a contract that pays $1.1 million per season.

Gross said a search was under way but offered no details. The Syracuse Post-Standard quoted sources saying Connecticut coach Randy Edsall, a Syracuse alum, was "very interested" in the job.

i hate student seats personally, unless i'm with a bunch of friends. at least it's november and you won't have to get there two hours early just to sit in the sun.

Heh. Hypothetical matchup. The Citadel vs Washington State in a neutral field: 60.8% The Citadel over Washington State. As always these are derived by Sagarin. I should make note that Florida has now passed USC as top team in it. For all intents and purposes though USC and UF are tied. Each of them would be about nearly a touchdown favorite against #3 Texas or #4 Penn State (who are equivalent). Really Sagarin splits things into tiers:

First Tier:

Florida

USC

Second Tier:

Texas

Penn State

Third Tier:

Everyone else, with Oklahoma being slightly better than them all.

In case you're interested. Progressive ratings the last two months

Calling Tennessee-Vanderbilt a "game of interest" is an insult to the word "game". And "interest".

Hey, I'm interested in how badly we'll get beaten down by Vandy.. . . . .

Remember when beating Vandy was not even a question? Sad.

Seriously, if Tennessee played Vandy, MTSU, Memphis, and Chattanooga, they'd probably go 2-2.

Part of that is Vandy getting better (thanks Bobby Johnson) and part of that is a sign of how horrible this team is playing. But yeah, I miss the good ol days of auto wins vs Vandy and UK.

And I tend to agree on the Tennessee schools - we'd beat UTC and Memphis and lost to MTSU and Vandy, I think. Ouch.

92.1% #10 Ohio State over Michigan

8%. Good enough reason to throw a party and drink beers. UM has a chance! :-))

You know what would be awesome...if they were like tied or close after the 1st qtr. Or what if it was like the 1st half of the Penn State game....it would suck if the 1st half of this game was like the 2nd half of the PSU game. Ohh well thats why you drink for this game.

BYU better beat Utah this weekend. If Utah goes to a BCS game i hope they get smoked.

EDIT: Rumors Sam McGuffie is transfering. That kinda sucks.

It may not be a bad thing unless it's for the Outback. The Champs would be better than the Alamo.

Word is out that McGuffie, as well as Babb and Chambers, are leaving Michigan.
