Speaking of the Bulls, 670 is reporting the Clippers are ready to sign Deng to an offer sheet. Possibly $12 mil per

If the Bulls match, they automatically get him back? Any word on the length of the contract?

I know I'm in the minority, but I hope the Bulls don't match that.

I'm guessing he's thinking that SF is by far our deepest position, Deng is good but not great, and that much money will leave us bordering on the luxury tax limit and hinder any signings the next could of seasons.

Because Luol Deng isn't a $12 mil a year player.

I agreed to a degree. But if we don't match, then the Bulls will have to reupped Ben Gordon. And I know I am not the only one who wants that guy gone from Chicago.

I wonder if the Clippers would do a SNT that involves Al Thornton coming back to the Bulls, along with other pieces, for Deng?

I'd rather have Gordon back than Deng, which is one reason I hope the Bulls don't match that offer.

That and Deng really isn't a $12 million a year player.

While I agree that Deng isn't a $12 mill a yr player, he is more valuable to the Bulls then Gordon. I don't want Gordon back.

Tickets go on sale Friday, October 3 at 10 AM. The presale is on Tuesday, November 30 at 10 AM.

Somehow I can't see the need for a VWR for the Bulls.

I was hoping this thread was bumped to tell me Ben Gordon finally caved and signed.

No, but the $10 seats for the more popular games will be gone in a blink of the eye.

Rose ready to go? I remember his knee was a little achy awhile back.

Haven't heard anything about him other than he was playing with the US Selects team that scrimmaged a few times with Team USA right before the Olympics. He hit the game winning shot in one of the games, which is cool.

Got 4 $10 seats to the new years eve game against the Magic, late February against the Rockets, and March against the Pacers.

That was a lot easier than last year.

Apparently Gordon is sitting out the first practice awaiting a deal before he has to sign the 1 year RFA deal of 6mil I think

I really hope we don't give in and sign him to an extension.

We won't. We already signed can't-shoot Kirk Hinrich to a 13mil per deal to play shooting guard alongside Rose.

I hate this organization. We're going to dump Ben Gordon like bad rubbish but they can't get enough of Kirk Hinrich.

Hinrich was turning the corner after that playoff series against the Heat. Then he got the big deal. Now they can't trade them because he gets paid too much for his talent. I don't think the Bulls really want to keep him, but they have no choice.
