Man theyre going nuts in Philly..crowd going wild the whole AB just for the guy walking to first with 2 outs..Awesome atmospehere..Wrigley better be like that tonight

any idea if any of those 11 abs happen to be when Jim was with the Padres and didn't hit anybody?

Lou forgot to see Jim's career numbers against Billingsley.

 

Reed Johnson should be in CF.

 

No, he really shouldn't be. 11 at-bats is a tiny sample size, while Johnson has a huge sample size of sucking against RHP.

i just played a coin flipping game

I made a comment in the game chat last night that TBS has the sound level really low on the crowd noise (compared to WGN/Comcast). I think that was part of the reason it seemed dead (pre-5th inning).

 

My guess is that with all the criticism about the crowd today that tonight's crowd will be a bit more lively. That, and the fact that the crowd will have had a few hours to drink before the game instead of coming straight from work

Don't recall if I said this in the thread before, but it's going to be really annoying to have people blame a bad outing on emotion tonight if Zambrano has one.

 

As if he hadn't had a ton of bad outings lately with no pressure or reason for emotion.
