1. Carlos Zambrano stares down Manny Ramirez after Ramirez admires a home run.

2. Carlos Zambrano yells to himself 10 times.

3. TBS announcers mention the curse and or 100 years 15 times.

4. Alfonso Soriano waves the bat at at least 6 breaking balls off the plate.

5. Derrek Lee grounds into a double play.

6. Bob Howry comes in the game in the seventh inning and gives up a critical home run.

7. Kosuke Fukudome takes a called strike three on the outside corner and looks back at the umpire and says, "Kurenai"

8. Kosuke Fukudome grounds out to Blake DeWitt the other two times up.

9. Mike Fontenot gets a hit.

10. Alfonso takes the worlds worst route to a ball, hops and misses the ball allowing a run to score.

11. Ryan Theriot gets an infield single and three ground outs.

12. Carlos Zambrano swings harder than anyone on the team, and has nothing to show for it, except two home runs.

13. Oh wait, those were hit by Kemp and Ethier off of Zambrano.

14. After the game, Derrek Lee once again says "It's only one loss". Yeah, one loss, and now another one loss, and you've only got two losses to give in the DS, son.

15. Ryan Theriot goes to a backhand and his noodle arm causes three infield singles.

 

I say 10 of those come true.

My friends and I periodically make picks for who will do well in a game.

 

One of my friends picked nobody because he thinks we'll get no-hit. Another picked Juan Pierre to hit three homers.

 

My friends are depressing.

I'm a huge pessimist and I'm not giving up on the series if we lose tonight. I will start accepting reality, but I have seen enough teams come back from down 0-2 to not completely lose hope.
