I don't really have a Peavy rumor. I don't know names or anything. The only solid thing I have is saying that he will NOT be traded to Atlanta and that a deal to the Cubs is close. Everything beyond that has been speculation.

What was Raisin going to say? I absolutely without a doubt vouch for this person and deem that his rumor is 100% fact.

 

Like he said, its a believable story as to how he got the info, but unless there is video or audio proof theres no way to find out for sure.

Yes I think Peavy will end up as a Cub. I would say with the information I have, I am over 90 percent sure he will be a Cub because there are very few other real options available, and none of them make very much sense. The only way I see it not happening is if Hendry is completely low-balling Towers and refuses to give up a good value for him.

Wait, what? First of all, Churchill is not "my boy". He told me something and I posted it here. The reason I believed it at the time was because it was matching up with what Buster Olney had just reported. Not once did I ever say that what he says is always true. I wanted everyone to buy into his info? What the hell? I posted what he said, then people got all pissed and trashed it because they didn't like it...so I said that he's been right in the past. That's all.

 

Second, I never proclaimed that this trade had no chance of happening. I said I ddidn't think it will happen, and I still think it probably won't. That doesn't mean I don't think there's still a good chance that it does happen. You don't see the difference?

 

"Hey do you think the Cubs will get Peavy?". "I hope, but probably not." "Then why are you even posting in here and hoping it happens! You just said it's impossible!"
