There's the turnover. Ballgame.

1-0 :D

I liked what I saw! Good win!

Grant looked real good for his first in-game action all season. Rodgers was as good as anyone could have hoped. The wideouts all looked good as Jennings looked like the big-play receiver that he's becoming and we did that without James Jones tonight. The defense contained AP and Taylor and made Jackson beat them, which is what a lot of teams are going to do to Minnesota this season. Very good start to the season.

Can't avoid a letdown game next week against the Lions. It would be huge to be 2-0 going into the big Sunday nighter against Dallas.

Really dew? I think the 3 Mikes are pretty terrible doing a game.

Of course I like Ditka and Golic is okay, but Greenie is awful.

Plug Tirico into Greenie's spot and you might have something.

Although I'm not a huge fan of Tirico, that'd be an infinitely better trio than the one we have tonight. Greenie is definitely the weak link.

Time to grab Eddie Royal if he is still available in your FF league.

At my radio meeting tonight, one of the guy's said his opponent in FF had Eddie Royal and basically laughed it off and marked it off as a win.

Whoops.

That sucked. First half playcalling was predictable and Tarvaris was bad. I thought he played well in the second half until the pick which had to have been some kind of miscommunication. Pass rush was non-existent all night. The 3 TD's came as a result of 50+ yard plays (Jennings catch, Grant run, punt return). Rodgers was really good but I could not believe they didn't get more pressure on him. Losing Griffin in the first half didn't help nor did having a rookie FS make a couple mistakes.

Now have an angry 0-1 Colts team, the Panthers, Titans and Saints before the bye. No McKinnie or Madieu Williams for the next 2-3.

Nice win by the Packers tonight.

Even with 11 billion penaltys they still outplayed the Vikings, Hawk was everywhere which was really good to see (Expecting a huge breakout season this year from him). Rodgers also looked really good. T-Jackson is what I always said he was.. horrible. The guy can fling it forever but can't throw a 5 yard slant route to save this life.

Grant looked really good for only playing part of the game. Nice win on a big stage. Especially over the Vikings, the Packers showed why they are the king of the NFC North still.

Hopefully we don't have a letdown against the Lions.

Maybe it's just me, but I think the three of them work together great. Greeny on his own wouldn't be that good, I don't think, but I like this trio as a team.

Of course, it'd help if this were actually a game.

to make the Brady injury better, I'm listening to Bill Simmons' podcast while wasting time at work, and Simmons drafted Brady in the first round of his fantasy draft.

this column is going to be epic when it comes.

My condolences, soccer.

Looks like this year will be development for Russel, McFadden.

That's what I figured anyway. At best this team is a 7-9/8-8 squad. At worst they're 3-13/4-12. I've been at work all night so I haven't watched the game yet, but pretty much everything comes down to Russell developing and how well the passing game does. If Russell improves, they could be decent since the running game is potent. If he doesn't, teams will stack the box and force Oakland to throw (which opponents should regardless). The big problem is the receivers absolutely blow. It might be the worst receiving unit in the league and that's going to hurt Russell a lot.

And from the numbers, the defense appeared to be pretty disappointing as well tonight.
