I had a Sox buddy of mine recently claim that the As might have gotten the better of the Harden trade because Harden isn't winning games for us. What a joke. In two starts, Harden pitched 12 innings of 1 run ball yet didn't win either start. That tells you all you need to know about judging a pitcher's success base on Ws. If you have to pick one stat, it's got to be ERA because that and WHIP are what the pitcher affects the most on his own.
