I don't know if Carp was rushed back but he did look pretty good in all three starts. 

 

And TLR has nothing on Dusty when it comes to burning arms.

I hope so, but we are the Cubs. I am waiting for the huge injury.

 

I wonder if TLR is hammering the arms this year as a way of saying to the front office, "hey, get me some more talent."

Soriano doubled to down the left field line

Fukudome grounded out to the pitcher, 1-3 , Soriano to third

D Lee singled to left field , Soriano scored

A Ramirez walked , D Lee to second

Villone in to pitch for St. Louis

Edmonds grounded to second base , safe at first on a fielding error, E4, D Lee scored, Ramirez to third

Thompson in to pitch for St. Louis

DeRosa singled to center field , Ramirez scored, Edmonds out at third, 6-4-5

Soto singled to left field , DeRosa to third

Cedeno doubled to right center field , DeRosa & Soto scored, Cedeno out at third, 9-5

Atta boy Rockin Ronny! Not mad at him for getting thrown out, now Demp can take care of the 7th and bring in a pinch hitter to start the bottom of the 7th.

 

Beat me to this point. It actually worked out ok. You assume Dempster would come up and make an out. Now you hope Dempster pitches the 7th, then you leadoff with Fontenot next inning as the PH.

If it makes you feel better, it could easily be 2-0, inning over if Kennedy doesn't let a routine GIDP go through the wickets.
