Aug. 7 New Orleans Saints at Arizona Cardinals ESPN / 8 p.m.

Aug. 8 San Francisco 49ers at Oakland Raiders 7 p.m.

Aug. 8 Philadelphia Eagles at Pittsburgh Steelers 7:30 p.m.

Aug. 8 Seattle Seahawks at Minnesota Vikings 8 p.m.

Aug. 9 Buffalo Bills at Washington Redskins 7 p.m.

Aug. 9 Indianapolis Colts at Carolina Panthers 7:30 p.m.

Aug. 9 Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Miami Dolphins 7:30 p.m.

Aug. 9 St. Louis Rams at Tennessee Titans 8 p.m.

Brees was just on ESPN talking about how deadly hot it is @ Saints TC. I thought they used to come up to Wisconsin for training camp -- wonder why they would go back to holding it in the South in the dead of Summer.

As a Cowboys fan, I'm looking forward to seeing how Adam Jones looks at CB and Mike Jenkins as well.

I'm sorry. Being a Cowboys fan is almost as bad as being a St. Louis Cardinals fan.

I'm looking forward to seeing how all of secondary looks. I've been hearing good things about Scandrick, Ogelsby, and Ball in the early goings of camp. Courtney Brown has replaced Watkins in the 1st team dime package too.

I've heard that Scandrick has looked great on special teams.

I am (NOT) looking forward to Ben running for his life behind an uber crappy offensive line. I am looking forward to seeing Mendenhall and the young linebackers (Woodley and Timmons).

Let's get your sleeper pick of the year.

Mine's Cleveland.

They aren't a sleeper if most people think they are contenders.

Do they? I didn't know that

Didn't they win like 10 games last year?

My sleeper is the Rams in that putrid division. I think Stephen Jackson is in a contract year.

Yes, it is MISERABLE in Jackson, MS this time of year. I can't imagine that there is any other TC that has worse heat problems.

97 degrees and 60-70% humidity is NO fun. When I used to play Legion Ball around this time of year, we'd pour ice into our hats and wear them like that.

Im guessing the Bears camp today is right up there with that, its hotter than hell in Illinois.

Yeah, they won 10.

The Browns should be good this year, but the biggest question is the secondary. Everything else is solid. Very solid.

As for predictions:

First team to triple digits in the Cowboys/Browns season opener wins.

Go Chiefs. Lets enjoy our 4-12, 5-11 season.

The Chiefs will have to work hard if they are going to end the Raiders' streak of five straight last place finishes (either alone or tied). I have faith in my boys to keep the streak alive.

I'm glad there are at least 4 Cowboy fans on this board.
