He said Soto should bunt so he wouldn't strike out 9 times in a row or something like that. I prefer two homers with 6 RBI

Hey cool, its the 5th inning, time for Dempster to meltdown.

Why not just get out of it and help your own stats by not giving up any runs here and going a couple more innings

Seriously what does this say about Hendry/Pinellas talent evaluating when we had pieces of crap like Rob Bowen, Koyie Hill, and Jason Freaking Kendall as out catchers last year while Soto raked in the minors? Seriously.

I mean come on, I actually like a game at Miller Park every once in awhile, but #2?

It's sitting in between 2 freeways, there's not a bar or an atmosphere within a mile of the place. It's like a big, sterile, brick warehouse inside. The retractable roof makes every day game a nightmare of marching shadows across the field. They play new rock all game long. They have one of the dumbest mascots in the league. Their sausage race got old 5 years ago.

Need I continue?

#2??!??!?

I hardly would call it a "meltdown". Just a little loss of control. He'll get out of it.

As bad as the atmosphere is inside the park, I must say, in its defense....the tailgating atmosphere before the game is pretty damn awesome. That's it though.

I've been there for Cubs games and it was fun. I went there during a Brewers-Pirates game on a day of a Cubs rain out. Not only was it pretty boring, I think there were more Cubs fans there for the game.

Hey I know I said Corey Hart was my least favorite player on the Brewers but I want to ammend that

Screw you Braun, we're both jews and you have to hurt me like that

Hmmm...Soto's numbers at AAA carried over to the majors. I wish the cubs had someone else on their roster that put up those kind of numbers at AAA from a traditionally weak position.

the difference between our catchers last year and our catcher this year is ridiculous.

i can't believe we have one of the best catchers in baseball, that is crazy.

As long as he keeps up, I think we have somebody to get behind for the All Star Game. I have a feeling he won't get many votes outside of Chicago.

he probably won't be voted the starter unless he keeps playing out of his mind. Assuming that Doumit's performance is a bit of a fluke, there are only two really good catchers in the NL - mccann and martin. he'll probably have to beat one of those two out for the reserve spot, unless they've all got really good numbers.
