oh erin andrews i want to give you an engagement ring fashioned out of my own body hair and seminal fluid

Don't remember where I heard it, but some time ago I had heard the rumor that Erin Andrews prefers women, not men.

I watched a couple innings over at my parent's house (my dad is now a convert Brewers fan because he got tired of waiting for the Cubs to win the World Series.) I know I'm a little late for it, but...

the brewers announcers, despite at least one of them having played professional baseball, appear to have learned all they know about baseball fr om the movie major league.

all centerfielders with speed should hit the ball on the ground. the notion that anyone should try to hit the ball on the ground is just absurd.

Dusty Baker is in the Brewers' booth now?

would anyone else prefer it if erin andrews just interviewed herself for 9 innings as you followed the game on sportsline

i'd prefer if she were doing something other than interviewing

Cuban said he's "certainly interested" in the Cubs - whatever a deal book is, Cuban said it hasn't been circulated yet.

Says he's a baseball fan, and feels lucky just to have the opportunity to be involved with an "iconic franchise" like the Cubs. Says he and Stern get along great - he feels he and Selig would get along great.

Doesn't really have any specific ideas for the Cubs should he own them but knows that with the "smart people" that work for the Cubs that he could come up with some things.

I could go for that.

Only if she was doing it while engaging in hardcore lesbian pornography.

I'm fairly certain there is no verb in the English language that couldn't replace "interviewed" in that sentence and I'd still be okay with it.

I'm gonna have to leave the thread for about 4 and half minutes. I'll be back.

Your dad is not very smart.

Well how don't you make that switch with all of the Brewers' history and all.

They're definitely old school. Especially Schroeder. Here's why I still like them: they seldom, if ever, engage in bashing the opposing team. They keep it civil, unlike some other teams' announcers.

Seriously? I thought a few weeks ago it was almost done or something.

Zell said he'd open the Cubs' books up to potential buyers (I think three of them?). I'm guessing this means they're getting all of the accounting and valuation done before sending the books out to the potential buyer.

Yeah. He was a Cubs fan but was even a bigger pessimist than I am, hard as that is to believe. He's 60 and grouchy and thinks he knows everything. I haven't been able to tell him anything for 26 years. I've just stopped trying.

Good chance that this could be Suppan's last inning, given the fact he's due to lead off in the top of the 5th. I'd love to drive his PC up north of 90 if we can this inning, and force the Crew to use their pen for a full 4 innings again.
