    I like the way he gives up lots of hits and walks in his one major league start, yeah. Not that Marshall's that great either.

    Having sweat run down one's ass hasn't stopped Cubs fans from filling Dolphin Stadium (relatively speaking) when the Cubs come to Miami. Maybe we as a fanbase just like ass sweat.

    Yeah. I mean, somebody has to play home games in April. Why not let it be the teams who are best equipped to do so by playing in a desert, subtropical region, or indoors? Making the Cubs shoulder the burden of filling seats in April isn't fair.

    One solution for these APRIL GAMES OF DOOM would be for Major League Baseball to start their season on the road. The Cubs should do much the same. I'd sacrifice a good deal of home games to start and end the year if it meant a huge slate of games in June and July. That's when Wrigley is at its best, so exploit it. But as mentioned, Minnesotans are tough bastids, they can handle a 45-degree game.

    I'm just guessing but it's probably because Ryan Theriot has outperformed Ronny Cedeno at the major league level. Just a guess... If Theriot is just short of terrible, that makes Cedeno what - far short of terrible then? This is not a difficult argument. Ryan Theriot is a below average baseball player - we all know that. However, he is the best shortstop the Cubs have and better than Cedeno. No, it makes Cedeno a pretty unknown quantity whose floor is Ryan Theriot's ceiling. post of the year, dudes
