Gallagher needs an out pitch. How many strikeouts does he have? It seems like once he gets to a 2-strike count, it's either balls till he walks, or it's put in play. It's baffling.

Cubs got Saito last week; Hoffman can be reached as well. If he couldn't be reached, the Padres would've won the wild card last year, after all.

I find the whole White Sox fanbase to be kind of weird. I don't know of another team whose fans are so universally mean-spirited (the war on all things Cubs) and ignorant (war on Baseball Prospectus). Strange little tribe they have down there.
