One of the good things about watching Brewers games on FSN is they do this little Tailgate Tips segment, and sometimes the food looks really good. This time it was steak stuffed with portabella mushrooms. Pass. They've had good ones, though. It's all a little upscale for Wisconsinites drinking beer in a parking lot, though, isn't it?

Between the cooking excerpts and American Idol chat I am thinking everyone on NSBB should turn in their man card.

My wife holds on to mine for safe keeping. She lets me borrow it every few weekends.

WE GET IT THE LAST TIME WE WON A WORLD SERIES IS 1908 BECAUSE OF A GOAT

See, these excuses on account of you classless cubs fans are why your team never wins. Blame yourself not any stupid billy-goat.

Sincerely,

I knew something was wrong when they showed Zambrano's ERA as 3.91, it was actually 2.2something

Thanks a lot ESPN

Sports aren't that complicated. Why are there people who mess it up so easily?

It is. Also interesting is that the most redeeming quality of the ballpark is what goes on in the parking lot when the game isn't happening.

I'm all for super complicating baseball

At least then we'll know if someone is good or bad. So we stop making fun of Adam Dunn and just make fun of Juan Pierre all the time.

But really recognizing that Dunn is good and Pierre is bad isn't that hard. ESPN seems to think understanding sports is hard when it really isn't.

Gameday is stuck on Dempster 2-0 on Hardy. Anyone got an update?

Cubs are batting, bottom of the 6th. Ronny with the leadoff walk.

Ronny is now hitting in the bottom of the 6th, so it must not have been anything bad. It's still 12-3.

Hardy walked, Gwynn K'ed.

Now Cubs are batting with Cedeno replacing Lee and Ward replacing Ramirez.

Cedeno just walked.

It seems to be hard for 90% of the sports watching populace
