1. Kerry Wood, Cubs - The closest thing we have to Sidd Finch: A legend no one sees pitch. Has there ever been more written and anticipated about a player who hardly plays? Yes, he is good when he pitches, but he has pitched 110 innings in the past three years or 1 2/3 innings fewer than Carl Pavano.

In front of Zito, Willis, Rowand, and Bay.

Ridiculous. Who exactly 'overrates' him, anyway? The guy gets way more crap than he deserves for his injuries and usually gets unfairly lumped in with Prior.

Kerry, please get like 50 saves with an ERA below 2.50 and shut this guy up.

How do I get people to read this column? I know! I'll put a player from a team with a huge fanbase at No. 1!

What a goob.

5 Best OVERALL players:

4. Hanley Ramirez: His defense is shaky. . . .

Last time I checked, being solid on defense was a big part of being and OVERALL great player.

Not when you're Hanley Ramirez at the plate. Albert Pujols isn't especially fast, he's still one of the best overall players in baseball.

3. Ichiro Suzuki, Mariners - An AL executive: "There is no opposing player you want to see less in a ninth-inning tie in the following situations: Leading off an inning"

Umm...I'd rather see him than Ortiz, ARod, Pujols, and quite a few other hitters.

Ummm, this Sherman guy is a ---SOAPDROPPING--- idiot.

Joel Sherman's soap dropping skills are underrated from what i gather. In fact, he made it into the top 5 on that list.

Seriously, this destroys the guy's credibility. Kerry has been the one that has been dumped on more than the others on that list.

Prior gets lumped in with himself?
