the unc-wazzu game will be verrrrrrrrry interesting. unc was the #3 fastest-paced team in the country (out of 341 d-i schools), while wazzu was #336. this is about as big a contrast in style as you will ever see.

Don't get me wrong. They're good, and they deserve their one-seed. But I'm down on the ACC, and I think UNC will struggle with physical, athletic teams. Like all Roy Williams teams, I think they'll also struggle with "system" teams like Wazzu.

That was my final. Thanks to the scenario generator, I just found out that the best I can do right now is a distant third. And that's if I get all of the remaining games involving teams I still have alive correct.

They were overrated until early February, then they started clicking on all cylinders and played the way they should have been all year. There was a big difference in the quality of Carolina's play to the rest of the ACC for the last month and a half. The first half of the season on the other hand.

 

This is coming from a Duke fan that hates to admit when Carolina is good.

I wouldn't be surprised if Flowers shut down Curry, but I wouldn't count on it. Its probably not in the Badgers game play to shut him down. Rather, they'll focus on containing him and shutting down everyone else around him. Curry going off for 30 means nothing if they shut down everyone around him.

I went to the Friday and Sunday games in Raleigh. The highlight was watching Davidson come back and beat Georgetown. The lowlight was watching my lifeless Loosiers getting whipped by Arkansas.

You know, for all the crap I've given the Big Ten, they do have a realistic chance at two EE teams.

Honestly, I think Wisconsin or MSU will be in the Final Four at the rate things are going. They're two of the best-coached teams in the nation and have enough talent and firepower to match up with teams like Kansas, Memphis, Davidson, and Texas. You have to admit, they've been impressive.
