Baylor's performance this afternoon has me concerned with my faith in the Big 12 for tonight's games.

I showed no faith in Baylor; they aren't good. I showed very little faith in the Big 12 in general.

Did anyone else just catch the pillow talk that happened during the Baylor/Purdue game?

What happened?

Only 30 more minutes until I get off work. Weeee.

Hopefully they'll have the Stanford/Cornell game on at the gym.

All of a sudden, one of the announcers started talking about Eli Manning and Tom Brady in this weird, dreamy fashion. The other announcer said, in his own creepy way, "You like that, don't you?"

It was freaky.

I take it that it wasn't Gus since you didn't mention any "Ha HAAAH."

So, 9 of the 53 brackets in the pool went chalk for the first 7 games.

Only one of the 53 brackets has lost an elite 8 team so far (Baylor).

Cornell-Stanford...a matchup of two of the most academically qualified teams in the field, for sure. Cornell likely overrated even as a 14 seed, though.

Teams with a good chance of screwing up my brackets tonight:

West Virginia

Southern Cal

I was getting a bit nervous when Xavier was having trouble against Georgia, but that happily was settled.

Pitt v. Michigan St. may be the best game of the weekend. Xavier v. Purdue may be a close 2nd. Butler v. Tennessee should fit in that top 3 also.

I think Tennessee will absolutely destroy Butler.

Screw you, Temple.

I don't know why I thought they would win, I just figured there would be a 5-12 upset, so I picked that game. I also randomly picked Kent State. 8-9 games are impossible for me.

6 for 7 in one, perfect in the other.

Same for me. Kicking myself over the one that I wasn't perfect on because I was intending to go with Marquette over Kentucky in both.

Actually, it's now 7 for 8 and 8 for 8 with Stanford's win.

Beasley picked up his second foul already.
