A couple of intriguing options here with Carolina's pick. Jeff King played tight end last season and didn't show the ability to be the long-term solution at the position. Carolina has the opportunity to draft a receiving TE here that ripped up the combine and has all the ability necessary to fill that spot. Therefore the Panthers take Dustin Keller from Purdue.

For the Bears I would suggest Kentwan Balmer DT UNC.

Completely agree. Balmer's the best player on the board right now and fills a need. I'd kill for an Albert/Balmer 1-2 draft. Unfortunately, I think both will be gone at least a 1/2 dozen picks before the Bears choose in each respective round.

Balmer is definitely the best player on the board. I don't think there's any way he falls this far, but if he does any team regardless of need should grab him.

I was going to take him 10 picks ago if I hadn't taken Dorsey with the third pick. I think Balmer should definitely be the pick for the bears

Definitely Balmer, no way you can pass him up.

Lions could go RB, MLB, DT, OG or RT here.

Im going to go with Chris Johnson, RB, East Carolina. This dude is freaking explosive and his speed really translates on the football field. He's scary in the open field. Now getting him in the open field with this crappy oline is another story. Hes got good hands and catch the ball in the backfield too.

Good pick. The Titans have been rumored to be interested in him for one of their first two picks and I'd like him - but I may lose it if we take a running back with a top two pick for the third straight year.

Bengals pick WR Early Doucet from LSU.

With Chris Henry gone, and Chad Johnson probably next, there needs to be a speedy receiver to compliment HOUSH.

Vikings need playmakers. The TE spot is weak (Shiancoe was a terrible signing). The team improved the WR corps by adding Berrian, and though we could use a good QB to get the ball to them, I don't like any of the QBs at this point in the draft. So:

Vikings select John Carlson, TE, Notre Dame

having addressed the other three major needs earlier in the draft (DT,CB,QB), the falcons are going to be looking for some offensive line help with this pick. With that in mind, the falcons take Anthony Collins of Kansas. He is the best offenstive tackle remaining. IMO.

Paging Truffle...

It may be about time to make Truffle's pick for him.

What are the biggest needs for the Eagles? I'd say OT or wide receiver.

King Dunlap from Auburn and Oniel Cousins from UTEP are likely the best tackles here and Andre Caldwell and Earl Bennett are probably the top rated receivers left, though I've heard very good things about KState's Jordy Nelson.

I like Dunlap myself.

Well, it appears the Vikes are close to dealing their 1st and 3rd round picks this year and their 2nd round pick next year to the Chiefs for Jared Allen.

Allen's a real good player, but I doubt he's worth that much.

That's a king's ransom.

Also, in other news, I heard the Bengals turned down an offer of two first round picks for Ocho Cinco. Not a good move on their part methinks.

Yeah, it's a bit much, but the Vikings are most likely gonna spend their 1st round pick on a DE anyway.

I'll say. That's a horrible move. They must not be willing to get rid of him.

Was it Dallas?

ESPN says the Redskins made an offer that was refused.
