I didn't expect us to win this game, but it still really, really sucks to lose it.

Twice we've folded late in a game we dominated early on. I hate the Chargers.

The 1st Quarter red zone turnover really hurt.

Yeah, Chris Brown's fumble was pretty bad. He just wasn't protecting the ball. You don't leap through the middle of the field cradling the ball with just one hand - it's not smart.

We couldn't stop the deep pass late either. They dominated at the line of scrimmage and gave Rivers time to find people depp late in the game.

That was a crappy game. Rivers threw the ball all over us.

You should be embarrassed. It'd be one thing if LDT ran all over you or something - but Rivers? C'mon. :lol:

you won't be laughing when hasselbeck makes the packers look horrible!

Wow. Steeler fans are whiny. I agree, going for 2 was stupid, especially from the 12. But most coaches go for two anytime they get down 11. It's stupid, but they all do it.

Now, we get to hear for a week how Jacksonville can control the tempo and are a hot team and will give the Patriots a lot of trouble. Blah blah blah. The Jags have no shot to beat the Pats. Put them in snow, on ice, whatever....it's not gonna happen. To compete with the Pats you have to have a good CB/S combo.

Let's see the teams that held NE under 4 offensive TDs:

Colts- Sanders, Jackson;

Ravens- Reed, McAllister/Rolle;

Eagles- Dawkins, Sheppard.

And the Jets did it in horrible conditions. The only teams remaining that can beat the Patriots are the Colts and Packers.

I think that last part is the only reason people are giving the Jaguars a chance. The Jets did it in horrible conditions because Brady couldn't pass the ball well at all. If the conditions are even decent for passing, New England will blow out the Jags. If they aren't, it could be interesting.

I can't even imagine the Jags could win that game. This is Foxboro in January against the best team in a decade. Jags will fold like a house of cards.

Supposed to be dry (and in the 30s during the day) over the weekend in Foxboro. Meh.

I'll echo what's been said: if the conditions are nice, the Pats will likely roll over the Jags.

Agreed, and we won't really know until Saturday about the conditions. I remember in 2004 when the Colts went up to play there, and it was supposed to be perfect conditions for the game as was reported all week. Then they showed a shot of the field 15 minutes before gametime and it was snowing. The 2 teams only attempted 2 passes over 15 yards all day long, and 1 of those was a heave on the final play that didn't come anywhere close to its target. That's the type of conditions the Jaguars will need on Saturday. They are physical enough to keep up with the Pats in tight spaces, but they can't let the Pats space them out which the Pats could easily do in good conditions.

If the conditions are nice, the Pats will dominate the Jags and win by 20.

If the conditions are poor (snow and/or rain), the Pats will dominate the Jags and win by 14.

I'm still holding out hope that Jacksonville can find a way to physically beat up on Brady, Moss and a couple others. The Patriots will probably win big, but I'm going to pretend otherwise.
