There is nobody affiliated with baseball I despise more than Littlefield. He ruined the Pirates and put $$ in his pocket, not the team. He represents everything bad in baseball.

 

Why in the hell is this guy even considered for anything? How about giving Matt Morris all that money after passing on Wieters in the draft because he couldn't afford him? What kind of advice is he gonna offer - it's obvious he can't provided financial advice or player evaluation.

Well he has helped the Cubs quite a bit in the past. He helped keep Pittsburgh from being any good and gave us good players for nothing. He's probably helped us more then JH has.

He's only potentially coming on as an advisor. I think this is great. Jim can ask Dave what he'd do regarding potential trades and free agent pick-ups, then do the opposite.

Well he has helped the Cubs quite a bit in the past. He helped keep Pittsburgh from being any good and gave us good players for nothing. He's probably helped us more then JH has.

 

He kind of has, but that was as an employee of a division rival. If they bring him on here, even as an advisor, if Hendry takes his word on a lot of things, we'd likely be helping the Pirates.

Probably not, I just hate incompetence, and I hate it even more when it's employed by the Cubs, which means the current regime kinda pisses me off.
