The Cuse is screwed. They will definitely end up bounced off the bubble. Too bad, too, I was hoping for 8 Big East teams.

Why, we still control our own destiny. With a couple of BE wins that would propel them into the mix and above possibly. This is also depending how the other tournaments do this weekend. If we have a Florida and Missouri win their tournaments, this is going to be very tough even with a couple of wins.

I, for one, still expect Syracuse to make the tournament. Perhaps because I expect them to top Villanova tomorrow.

So what teams got totally boned last night with Gonzaga and South Alabama losing? I'm thinking Ohio State and one of the Big East teams will lose out because of those 2 automatics going to teams that weren't in. I really kind of enjoy watching Boeheim squirm and whine when they don't get in.

One of the Pac-10 teams (Arizona, Arizona State or Oregon) is probably in some serious trouble as well.

You better hope it's not Arizona (they play Oregon State manana).

I never know what to expect when we play Nova. When we had Warrick, it was no problem because of matchups, but since then it's been mostly going their way. I think this team has done quite well for losing 3 starters.

Well the tournament games don't count towards the Pac-10 standings so I wouldn't care that much.

But if Arizona does lose to Oregon State tomorrow they should automatically be removed from contention from both the NCAA Tourney and March Madness. Any team that loses to OSU doesn't deserve a postseason.

Just seems like that kind of year. And all the basketball experts will bash the Big Ten at every opportunity for "stealing" an at-large bid.

Cuse is done, and I don't think Nova's in unless they beat Georgetown. Go figure.

Harangody and Brey were named Big East Player of the Year and Coach of the Year, respectively. For Brey it was his 2nd award in a row. Both honors are well-deserved. :D

Harangody was a good choice, but I would've thought Pitino would get the nod for Coach of the Year. Maybe if they had beat Georgetown last week.

Louisville was picked tied for 1st in the Big East preseason. ND was picked 9th. ;)

Defensive Player of the Year: Russell Westbrook, UCLA (I think Kyle Weaver and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute were better defensive players this season)

In the Pac-10? I think Bayless, Mayo (despite what he has said to the media), Jefferson, Brook Lopez and Love's teammates Collison and Westbrook are just as likely (95%+ chance they'll turn pro). And all of them besides Jefferson could be selected before Love.

Seems like a lock that the Big Ten Tourney title is going to the top half of the bracket. I think I like Illinois or Minnesota's chances better at making it to the finals than I do Indiana's.

Minnesota's, yes. Illinois, not so much.

Michigan is not good. No way they beat Wisconsin. I could see a hot Ohio St. upsetting them though.

Shawn Pruitt made the media 3rd team.

And Brian Randle was the sportsman of the year...
