Do you think Tuberville would be open to shifting his offense to more of an option-type when Burns takes over? If he does have poor accuracy, that would help him in college immensely.

Kodi runs the spread offense this year when he comes in to play, and Al Borgess believes he will have success with this because of his athleticism...we'll see.

I never heard of the kid and it sounds petty.

I TOLD YOU THEY CHEAT!!!!

They did turn themselves in. I wonder what this freshmen eligibility rule is?

players aren't eligible if they accepted $200k from a booster

I knew they made a lot at Michigan, but $200k? Wow, how much to the kids at Penn State get?

Ok, now NDNation.com is saying Indy will carry the Purdue game. It makes no difference to me because I'll be concentrating on the Cubs, but seems like WRTV is having problems making up their mind.

It sounds more and more likely that Sutton will be out the rest of the season with his ankle injury and will apply for a medical hardship waiver. I'm not sure what his odds are of getting that after going down in the 1st quarter of the 2nd game of the year, though.

Next was looking like the year to try to make a run, with both Sutton and Bacher graduating after the 2008 season, but now it could become interesting.

Probably as much as they do at O$U, F$U and U$C.

A couple of Bruins have gotten that in the past, 1.25 games isn't a big deal. Thankfully for you, he's a senior next year so when the NCAA takes its sweet time and decides right before the regular season, it won't be as big a deal as it would be if he was a 5th year senior.

2006 Memories

:D

After last week's semicomeback against Purdue, I've actually allowed myself to hope that ND can win this game, although I'd still be shocked if they actually did.

Indiana needs to get a little revenge on this week. Minnesota started the downfall of our 2006 bowl hopes with a 63-26 pasting in the Rollerdome. Being 5-1 heading into East Lansing is essential. I take nothing for granted. :)

ugh this week is moving slow. Im getting really pumped up for Mizzou Nebraska. Its gonna be crazy.

Question- They'll have the Cubs game on ESPN Radio all over the country right? I really dont want to leave the tailgate to walk about a half hour to watch the game, but I dont want to miss it. Hopefully it's on the radio.

Unless I'm much mistaken it will be, ESPN Radio has carried all the playoff games for a while now. I can't guarantee something didn't change with the new media contract but I'd be surprised.

I hate the was Paterno is handling things right now. He's super surly in his press conferences, and is inexcusably standing up for his crappy QB while throwing the rest of his offense under the bus. He claimed that Morelli was fine against Illinois and would have been better if his receivers weren't dropping balls or failing to make big plays in the clutch. What dropped balls?

Maybe the WR's just entered puberty.

yeah... i think the one play he was referring to was when quarless "dropped" the pass near the end zone in the 4th quarter, and he didn't really bring in the pass cleanly, but the Illinois LB also made a great play. Apparently your quarterback pissing the ball away four times in the game isn't the problem, it's one dropped pass that wasn't even totally the receiver's fault.

well, JoePa can back Morelli all year.....back him right to a wonderful Emerald Bowl berth against East Carolina
