Maybe in years past it was, but the talent on the IL team is more than what many of the Lions teams have had.

 

IL up 7-0 after the 1st. Wisconsin cant stop Mendenhall, and they cant get anything on the ground against IL.

I just watched it again. The Wisconsin player wasn't even trying to hit him, he was diving for the ball in case it was ruled a backwards pass.

 

Good field goal by Illinois-keep it up Illini! I'd like another week like last week where several people in the top 10-15 go down.

Yeah, the Wisconsin player dove for the ball and he rolled over to make sure that nobody could take it from him. As he rolled, his back took the receivers legs out right about when the whistle blew.

While I tend to agree, it looks like IL's secondary are bringing some pretty big hits. Looks to me like they are hearing footsteps and dropping alot because of it.
