17-6 Illini at the half. Illinois has held Wisconsin to 34 rushing yards in the 1st half. Hopefully Zook will make some adjustments to close down the middle of the field a little. All in all a good half of football from Illinois. Mendenhall is a beast, and his name needs to start being talked about regarding the Heisman.

Mendenhall was only 8th in the nation in rushing and 6th in rushing TD's entering this game.

 

For example, how could you even consider giving Mendenhall the Heisman over Tim Tebow? Tebow has only 200 less yards rushing and the same number of TD's, and happens to have 1300 yards passing and 11 more TD's through the air.

 

Mendenhall doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the Heisman discussion right now. He's one of the better RB's in the nation, but that's not good enough to be in the Heisman race. He isn't even for certain the top RB in the Big 10.

UI is really good. Mizzou is very lucky to have played them so early.

 

You gonna make it out to KC for the Mizzou-KU game at the end of the year?

 

Nah. That's a lot of cheese for a football game. I'm really pissed they're playing it in KC. It cripples our already slim chances of winning that game.

Yea I just wish his passing would improve some more than it has. Hes got tons of talent.

wisconsin decided to play this 2nd half. Its not going to be the domination that the 1st half was.
