Why do I have to watch Crappy Big Ten Team 1 (Iowa this week) and Crappy Big Ten Team 2 (Penn State this week) at the 3:30 ABC slot every week?

What I'm most impressed with about Illinois is that the teams they've played haven't really been patsies (aside from Western Illinois). Syracuse is apparently an average Big East team, Missouri could win the Big 12, and Indiana and Wisconsin have their only Big Ten losses against Illinois, with a previously ranked Penn State as the other win.

I just hope they don't lay eggs against the less highly regarded teams on their schedule.

i feel pretty good about michigan. ohio state will be a bloodbath, slugfest, whatever you want to call it. the illini generally play tosu well.

while I am thrilled we are actually a decent team this year, a year ahead of schedule, we are not going to go into the horseshoe and win. Are we?

Cause they have a big following, much like Notre Dame has with all of their games still on.

I could post the ND coverage map again...

Actually it's because I'm unfortunate enough to live in the Indy market. OU/Texas is on and I'm stuck with this.

Yeah that does suck.

lawl same old michigan state... disappointing loss against a good team, then come out the next week and completely crap the bed against a bad team. Let the collapse begin.

And congratulations to my favorite fat coach in sports, Mark Mangino!

I miss when ND got to start the annual MSU free fall. Maybe next year.

Just got back from the SIU game. 24-17 win for the Salukis over Youngstown State. Was a real close game all the way through. Real pleased with the win, but Northern Iowa is going to be a huge test for us next week. Now 6-0 on the season.

Illinois is looking dominant this season. Going to be a blast to see them in the top 25 tomorrow.

And oh yeah, NIU lost to Temple 16-15. i lol'd. The MAC is complete garbage.

Sucked to see Wisconsin lose today, but I couldn't say it was a total shock. Illinois has an awesome team offensively. Defensively they have some work still do, but they're opportunitistic. Offensively, if I were Illinois coaching I would rarely throw the ball. They're basically impossible to stop with Benn, Mendenhall and Juice running it.

From a Wisconsin perspective, those 2 Donovan INT's was the difference in the game. Take those two back, and Wisconsin had an excellent shot to win.

As a good takeaway for Wisconsin, their young player keep stepping up. Guys like Brown, Jefferson and Graham are stepping up as players like Hill, Swan and Hubbard get injured. Their offense should get more powerful in the coming years. And who would of thought Wisconsin would ever have a QB that throws for near 400 yards?

Defensively, their key guys are not stepping up. They really have some work there to do.

Everytime Juice drops back I scream my head off. There is absolutely no reason why we should ever pass the ball. Just mix in equal parts Spread Option, I-Form, and maybe some quick screens. thats it.

Great, my day got worse, as UCLA fumbles and ND is inside the 1 AND UCLA's only scholarship QB (Olson) is hurt and probably done for the game.

Sure, juggle a sure pick out of bounds, UCLA.
