Several of us are making the trip to Wrigley for the playoffs. Many of us will be partying, drinking, watching the games, and just general debauchery.

Well, I don't have tickets and I'm not interested in getting drunk, so I don't think I'll be driving up to Chicago for that.

Yea, there are at least a few people who planned to make the trek without having a seat nailed down, and I would have been among those, but I got lucky Sunday morning. Totally worth it to make the trip, tix or not. Plus it's a holiday weekend.

Fred's wife's brother (or someone he knows) owns sluggers - Fred mentioned trying to talk to the guy about getting us a back room for the playoff game, but that's a longshot.

 

Hell, I've been displaced for eight years, and I just want to be in Wrigleyville packed in somewhere with a crapload of Cubs fans, so I don't really care where we all meet. I just wanna rock out.

I just bought a ticket to Game 3 and am working for a game 4 ticket...Vance, you've got my #....I"m thinking I'll go to both games and kill as much as my liver as possible...I'm meeting some friends up there but wouldn't mind hooking up with the NSBB crew too.

I sold my tickets, but I'm already regretting it, although I did make $600 by spending about an hour on it. Anyways, after witnessing tonight's events, I'm thinking about driving up to Chicago next weekend just to watch the games with other Cubs fans. Anyone who isn't going to the game that would be interested in meeting up at a bar in Wrigleyville and doing some serious drinking, let me know.
