Oh gosh, I am getting nervous now....gotta get my plan in motion

http://blogs.chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sports_hardball/2007/09/cubs-playoff-ti.html

Tickets for the first two home games of the National League Division Series will go on sale at 9 a.m. Sunday, the Cubs announced Tuesday.

Tickets won't be available at Wrigley Field or at Tickets.Com outlets and can only be purchased by telephone or via the Internet.

...

The Cubs Web site is http://www.cubs.com and a virtual waiting room will be used for all Internet orders, opening at 8:30 a.m. with tickets on sale at 9 a.m. Internet customers will need a valid cubs.com account.

The Cubs said customers are allowed one order for one game, with a four-ticket maximum. Prices run from $35 for terrace outfield reserved to $265 for a dugout box.

Thank God for the VWR, I am pretty confident I will get tickets to at least 1 game. I am going to be greedy and go for game 1.

does anyone know if they have scheduled the dates for the NLDS and what they are?

I don't know if this info is accurate, but this is what I found after a brief google search:

The Cubs will not have homefield advantage unless one of the teams really swoons, so potential game 3's according to this would be on Saturday Oct 6th. Game 4's would be Sunday Oct 7th.

I'll definitely be hanging around the VWR on Sunday morning. Hopefully, the workaround still works. I would love to see a Cubs' playoff game.

If the Cubs make it to the playoffs, and I don't get tickets, I'll still probably head over to Wrigley and hang out on Waveland.

FYI, bleacher seats are reserved (not general admission) for the playoffs...so you could get stuck with the upper part.

You shouldn't bring it up if you don't want to share.

Is the workaround just opening 9999 windows (tabs, actually)? Because I already do that.

I think that's what it was last time. That's what I did for Reg. season tix anyway. It worked. Just a bit of a pain in the butt.

sorry, didn't mean to get everyone excited. I figured most people already knew about it anyway. Yeah, the workaround is just opening a bunch of new windows (tabs didn't work this year). Not that exciting, but it definitely works.

I was just kidding. I hope many on here are able to get tix if they want them.
