6-0 Brewers and they are still batting. I think we can give up on gaining ground tonight.

 

Cardinals are getting smacked around, though.

 

And that is always nice.

Unless we're playing them, the Cardinals score is irrlevant to our playoff chances.

Indeed, but it'd be nice not to have to worry as much about them overtaking the Cubs coming into the upcoming four game series.

off topic, why the hell is LaRussa still batting the pitcher 8th? I thought it was a cute, annoying little gimmick the first time, but the fact that he still is, is just annoying and stupid, it makes no sense...O but it sets up the top of the order....no the top of the order sets itself up and i would want the pitcher to bat as little as possible, and what if a key situation falls to your pitchers spot? dumb managing, but then again, thats a good thing for us eh...

We'd have a lot bigger worries than the Cardinals passing us if we lost 4 straight to them
