so this isn't entirely accurate?

- C. Biggio grounded into fielder's choice, H. Pence out at second

I'm guessing Soriano dropped a routine fly but got pence at 2nd because he had to stay at 1st?

May I go on the record as saying Soriano's hop has got to go.

The hop needs to go, the Riot needs a couple days off, Cliff needs to find a home on the bench (so does Kendall), and Murton & Soto need to play more.

And Tracshel needs to stop pitching for the Cubs

You forgot about the part where Lou releases Trachsel back into the wild.

This feels like a game where we're going to squander a lot of opportunities and lose the lead late... hope I'm wrong.

All valid points, but I felt the hop had to go before Soto turned into a masher and before Trax was on the Cubs.

I actually had forgotten about him somehow. Thanks for reminding me he's pitching tomorrow on 3-days rest.

Oh, the hop definitely needs to go. I'm surprised the Cubs haven't stopped him from doing it. I don't even understand why he does it. It's just stupid.

Did he do it lat year with the Nats?

Marquis is on his game tonight in getting the ground balls.

Despite the popular sentiment on him, I'm very pleased with what he has done this year.

According to Pat Hughes (I think that's who i heard say it), Soriano says that, being a natural infielder, he has always been taught to keep his feet moving while he catches the ball. That habit he learned in the infield has turned into that ridiculous hop, he says.

I still think it's dumb.
