Some of those HRs from the 2003 NLCS stand out to me as much (if not more) than those other HRs.

the Glenallen Hill rooftop shot

It's got to be the shoes.

Or Kerry Wood's HR in Game 7 of the NLCS.

This would probably be the case if we had won that game.

Same with Sammy's game tying 9th inning 2 out HR in game 1.

It was WAY before my lifetime, but based on reading a lot about Cubs history I had to go with Hartnett's homer in the gloamin'. It propelled the Cubs to the World Series that year.

Of the one's I've actually seen, it's a 3 way tie for me, and none of them are on the list above.

Glenallen Hill's rooftop blast

Kerry Wood's game 7 homer (I was losing my mind at the time)

Gary Gaetti's homer in the 1998 wild card playoff game against the Giants.

That's what I'd have chosen. None of the others really stood out, but that one had the biggest emotional swing before and after.

Greatest game I have ever attended. Plus I was lucky and won the ticket lottery and only paid face value for the ticket. Last row upper deck, left field side. I saw both Sammy's & Alou's HR's go over the fence and the mosh pit that ensued.

I have never heard Wrigley that loud again.

Don't fret, that's my mom's favorite Cubs memory.

For me, Wood in game 7 edges out Sosa in game 1 and Gaeti in 1998.

Or Ramirez's grand slam in the 1st inning (which was a monster shot) down the left field line in game 4 of the 2003 NLCS.
