  1. They obviously had next to no interest in Wypler. That doesn't bother me. I don't want a center who lacks strength. No more pocket collapsing in Fields' face, please.
  2. Unless Robinson shows up out of shape and goes into slacker mode, he's not getting cut.
  3. No chance on Robinson. Jones seems unlikely. Gipson possibly.
  4. DL room is getting kind of crowded. Not with stars, but are we cutting any of these guys? Gipson - Robinson - Jones - Walker - Green - Billings - Dexter - Pickens How many will they carry on the 53-man? Nine?
  5. While day drinking.
  6. The worst organization in the NFL.
  7. Rumors now that, if Houston passes on Stroud at 2, Tennessee will trade with Arizona to get to 3 to take him. If that happens, I really want Stroud to become the Titans' version of Aaron Rodgers and the Texans to be the Rodgers-era Bears. Caserio is awful and the Texans are the worst organization in the NFL. They should continue to pay for their ineptitude.
  8. Setting aside the issue of skill positions versus the trenches, it would be criminal insanity to take JSN over Bijan, if they were both available.
  9. One of these things is not like the other.
  10. For any subscribers to "The Atlantic", Dane Brugler's "The Beast" draft guide is out.
  11. I think Lukas Van Ness is a very real possibility.
  12. Houston had better move up to 9 from 12 to make sure to get him. Robert Woods and Dalton Schultz won't cut it for their new QB.
  13. Right, that, whatever, YAWN It makes a difference. We need the NFC South teams other than Carolina to have excellent records in 2023.
  14. A "spare" second rounder to pick one of the top tight ends would be nifty. Get Darnell Washington and set him at the end of the line for the next ten years.
  15. McShay's latest has the Bears doing a double tradedown with the Colts and the Raiders. https://www.nbcsports.com/chicago/bears/todd-mcshay-mock-draft-has-bears-trading-twice-drafting-peter-skoronski
  16. He actually played quite a bit of 3T at Iowa.
  17. Does that make you less interested in trading with them?
  18. Take a look at Colby Wooden. I'm very interested.
  19. IF Wilson's medicals are clean (slightly worried about the foot), he's good at #4. Murphy no - much lower. Wilson is a better scheme fit than Anderson. Just trade down three times (Texans, Colts, and Panthers) and take Van Ness at #9.
  20. I like it. Maybe Risner instead of Seumalo? Not much interest in Chark. Maybe use one of the second rounders on one of the top tight ends in the draft? If Carter's gone at 4, who do you like? Maybe Wilson from Texas Tech?
  21. That was certainly not up to the usual standards of The Athletic.
  22. Tyree Wilson is the guy I wonder if the Bears might become infatuated with. How far down can you move and be assured of getting him? Probably not more than 4.
  23. A little short, as I reckon it. Need to add their 2024 2nd or their 2025 1st. Bears might need to toss a 2024 3rd or 4th back in their direction.
