I guess its not that bad. Kendall is known to handle pitchers well and has shown good numbers as recently as last year...

Cubs have acquired Jason Kendall to Oakland for Bowen and Cash.

 

He's been terrible this year, but quite good each of the past few. He is getting a bit old, but as a rental I'm ok with this. Plus we didn't give much up.

I don't know how statistically inclined your friend is but their pen has a 7-16 record which is due to their horrendous offense not providing any support.

Blevins has been the closer for the Smokies. He has a 1.53 ERA, 69/13 K/BB ratio. Before that he was with Daytona this year and had a 0.38 ERA before being promoted. He's lefthanded.
