If we get the fourth run, does he stay for the complete game?

No way. 111 pitches.

Dude, I asked him if he was OK and he said yeah. So I pitched him, dude.

Rich Hill's updated stats through three starts.

3G, 22IP, 8H, 1ER, 1 HR, 5BB, 0.59WHIP, 0.40 ERA

Those are some sexy numbers.

I think he has 7 walks... 3 this game and 4 last game. Still, he's awesome.

Curse that HR he gave up to ruin his first start.

Probably, and I'd pull him, but without the save Lou might decide to give him the opportunity if he can do it efficiently.

My bad, I had him for one walk this game. Haven't been paying close attn

Update the BB count to 7, making his WHIP an abysmal and unacceptable 0.68

It would have been a no hitter without the homer.

Well Ward just PH for him, so we can put that to rest.

And Ramirez swings at another ball in the dirt. How many times have we seen that.....
If you're talking about Aramis, not that many

You must be joking. Aramis swings at just about every breaking ball on 2 strike counts, no matter what the location is.

You can check BB% and BB/K if you would like too.

Doesn't matter whether he K's or not, he still will swing at bad 2 strike pitches and if he happens to make contact its usually weak and in the infield. Doubt you have stats for that.

I could find them, but something tells me you wouldn't pay attention to them anways if they proved you wrong.

Well, something's telling you incorrectly.

Hey Einstein, if Aramis siwnings at just about every breaking ball on 2 strike counts, no matter what the location is he would not have the walk totals he does nor the K totals.

Obviously, not all 2 strike pitches are breaking balls, so those can skew the reference you're making to his walk and K totals. Einstein.

I'm going to say it. Aramis Ramirez has become a VERY GOOD defensive third baseman. What a change from when he first came in the league.

I would agree with you, but I think Aramis always made those type of plays. I remember saying in 2003 or 2004 that Aramis would make every tough play look easy and botch some of the routine ones. Now, he's much better at the routine and can still make the tough play.

he's an ADD player

Fine with me. :D

But if what you've been saying is true, that Aramis swings at every breaking ball with two strikes, no matter the locations... surely opposing managers would have the good sense to feed him nothing but breaking balls out of the zone with two strikes.
