Yeah, Peavy pitched so much better than Hill today.

They better have Hill in the upcoming "That's Nasty" feature.

Yeah, I loved that. :x

Also, I guess the Cubs didn't hit an important homer tonight. Hmmm, I thought Barrett's was a game winner considering Hill pitched a shutout. My bad.

Interesting to see all the posts regarding Rich Hill now as compared to early last season. Lots of posters ripping on him last season, meanwhile, guys like me who have seen him pitch with the Iowa Cubs many times knew he'd be fine just sat back and watched. He's going to do great things as long as the Cubs keep ahold of him.

Trust me, abuck reminds those people of their stupidity every chance he gets.

that's not true at all.

Diaz out!

Cubs Win! Cubs Win! Cubs Win!

Rich Hill is 3-0 :D

he'll go 26-0 in 26 starts with no injuries. Zambrano will start 40 games, lilly and marquis will start 35

I wish I had proof that Rich Hill has been my favorite cub since late 2005.

while I can understand if you loved him as a prospect a year ago, you're demented if he was your favorite cub a year ago. totally bonkers

he'll go 26-0 in 26 starts with no injuries.

with a 0.28 ERA, 0.64 WHIP, 8.4:1 K:BB

(that was a comment on Piniella skipping him, btw)

You mean because of his struggles? Many of us stood by his side defending him. Even during the struggles. .

Wow! That was a stress free win. This is what an "Ace" is supposed to do. I do find it alarming we couldn't more runs off of Redman.

I noticed that your prediction for his 2007 ERA dropped to 2.42 from around 4.10 recently

That because the Cubs got their hits off of "Method Man." D'uh..

I had a softball game and DVRd the game. I watched it all in about 15 minutes when I got home, only slowing down and rewinding the Cubs runs. I didn't even realize it was the 9th already when Dempster went in there. It felt like the 5th or something.

BTW...Hill's curveball is sick! Fun to watch the Braves' fans reactions to it.

One fan behind me kept mumbling, where the hell did this guy come from.

Great game....Wednesday's game, not so much.

Oh, and I only need three more sigs to finish my Cubs team signed batting helmet.

He'd have known the answer to that last year if the Cubs' management weren't so incompetent.

I don't know about that-when I was there for the 2003 playoff series, I had people tell me that they didn't realize Kerry Wood was good and they wondered if this Prior guy that was going in game 3 was any good.
