If you had told me that the Cubs and Cardinals would both be 6-9 at this point in the season, I would've... well, not been all that surprised I guess.

Considering it was Redman and that Barrett's HR broke up a streak of some pretty craptacular offense, I venture to say that this is the first time that either pitching has bailed out crappy offense or vice versa.

Nice game all-around. I could've gone with a more consistent attack on offense, but over-all this was a good game. And if you want to define your team's ace as the stopper who ends losing streaks and starts winning streaks -- well Hill is looking like the real deal. With no offense, I'm glad we didn't trade him for Dunn (which was widely criticized on this site at one point).
