With tonight's wins I'm now #1 in the NSBB Yahoo Pick Em' Pool. If Florida and G-Town win tomorrow, I'll have the Final Four picked 100%

Wow-I thought that my bracket was messed up, but somehow I'm up to #2 in that pool. The only game we have differently now for the rest of the tournament is Florida-Oregon-if Oregon wins that game, then I think that's worth 4 points, which is the number I'm behind.

Just coming in to say that the UCLA- Kansas game was the ugliest game of basketball I've ever seen, and strangely officiated. (The reffs wouldn't give Kansas fouls at the end even though they were practically molesting Bruin players)

Very bizarre game. At least I picked UCLA out of that bracket.

This is the first time UCLA has been in back-to-back Final Fours since John Wooden was coach.

Arron Afflalo was named Regional MVP. :)

Congrats. Impressive performance.

I'm a little upset at myself -- I went against my golden rule of picks. When a game is basically a tossup, I go with the better coach. I picked Kansas. Oh well.

Oregon = GATOR BAIT!

Pretty much. I don't know why you're getting so excited, you're gonna win.

I don't get all hyper when I'm fairly sure of victory.

aaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd bill self fails to make the final four with the most talented team in the country.

Ahem. Second most talented team in the country. The most talented team in the country is going to lose to Georgetown in a few hours.

ETA: Not that I didn't choose UNC to win the whole thing. I just think Georgetown is a more consistent team.

Agreed, at least about the talent part. I picked Georgetown, too, mainly because UNC's defensive effort fades during games in my opinion.

But UNC has the deepest roster of talent. It's a hard question to answer -- Florida has the best starting five, but UNC has more good players. Kansas is right there, as is Ohio State, mainly because of Oden.

Can we send James Brown back to FOX and bring back Gus Johnson? Gus and Len Elmore are the Dream Team of college bball announcing.

I just don't understand this. James Brown is a good studio host, but a terrible play-by-play guy. Meanwhile, Gus Johnson is great -- especially with Len Elmore, who is very good. Who made this decision?

The Ducks need take advantage of what open looks they are getting outside...Malik Hairston is carrying them right now but they have no chance at this game if Porter and Brooks don't pick it up.

Does it really take this long to fix the net?

It certainly shouldn't. What's going on?

Aaron Brooks is so effective when Oregon spreads it out and allows him to take his man off the dribble, glad to see Oregon do that. They're still in this thing, which is great. Oregon needs to get it going on the fast break though, that's their bread and butter.

Kind of discerning for Oregon is the fact that it is shooting 57.7% right now and its still down 2. If the Ducks cool off, Florida is going to run away with this thing.

Florida is at 50% from outside the arc though... they've been shooting really well too. Oregon needs to rebound the ball better at the defensive end, though.

Those offensive boards that Florida is getting is setting up so many open looks for Humphrey and Green.

True, but Florida isn't exactly struggling either-they are shooting 48% right now. Also, Florida is 7-14 from 3 point range while Oregon is 3-10-you would expect those percentage numbers to move closer in the second half.
