Given their ridiculous shooting so far this game, this is a pretty absurd statement.

 

Good point. But they had missed six or seven in a row at that point.

 

I know. They're lucky that UNC decided to stop scoring or running an offense of any appreciable kind for that period.

 

Even still, if Georgetown was shooting 45% in the game, they would be down 15-20 points right now.

Why did he have to commit that foul Billy? He didn't have to foul Wright. At this point, having an extra foul to work with is probably worth the free dunk that Wright would have got. Now, one foul and he's out of the game.

Ellington missed a three and Georgetown with the board and timeout. There are 1.4 seconds left on the clock and they might add more. Come on Hoyas.

Exactly. He's basically protected like an NBA star sometimes, even more reason to pass him the ball.

If Carolina loses this game it's just another example for my "Blown Opportunity" theory where a team has a shot to win a game or a series, blows the chance and never has a good shot to win in overtime or the next game.

Whoever that was that drove the lane should have taken the shot instead of kicking it back out. UNC is just making some bad decisions right now.
