I don't know what you guys think, or what the media talk has been, but Rex Grossman is the reason the Bears lost last night. He's just awful.

Disagree, the only players without blame are Hester and Gould, imo. The defense gets off a bit for being on the field for 40 minutes, but the lines were awful, the coaching was awful, Benson and Reed had crucial turnovers, Grossman wasn't that great, Chris Harris blew the coverage on the Colts' first TD and the defense missed tackles all over the map.

The WBBM radio call on Hester's return was unbelievable.

I miss the Bears already :(

This has probably been asked, but where can I find the audio for that call?

the reggie wayne td was blown coverage by d. manning not chris harris.

Did the TV announcers get it wrong then? Every call I've heard has Harris blowing the coverage.

The defense also gets a bit of a break for generating a couple fumbles, and for shutting down Indy in the red zone for the bulk of the game.

Thomas Jones didn't really do much to get a lot of blame either...when a running play was called, he was pretty effective overall.

yeah, I'd say Gould, Hester, Jones (his numbers would have been better if he had Ced to complement him) are all ok. I think Moose too, he had some big catches and no drops that I can remember.

For the vast majority of the game, I disagree with you on that-Jones was not good other than 1 run before picking up most of the rest of his yards late. Part of that was due to his blocking on several runs though, so that big run might be enough to take any blame away from him.

One positive thing Rex did do last night is move out of the pocket. Granted, he made a stupid decision on one occasion, but he did step up or sidestep the rush a few times, which is something he didn't do much during the season...

It's on the right side, there is a little play button underneath "Super Bowl Highlights"

Thanks. That was the best call of the year.

After Benson was down, I was hoping for Adrian Peterson to run it into the defense and tire them out.

Terrible play-calling by Ron Turner. Terrible coverage even before the plays. Peyton Manning fooled us.

Pretty sure it was Harris.

It was Manning. He played FS. Urlacher ripped into Manning on the sideline following that TD.

I think Simms pointed out Manning and called him Harris on that play, if memory serves.

Probably why I was confused.

Urlacher ripped him on the sidelines and then said (after the game) it was a communication problem that was his (Urlacher) fault b/c he didn't get the play in fast enough and didn't communicate it to everyone. :?

Urlacher is the type of guy that would take the heat for any defensive mishap publicly though. He knows he can handle the criticism, and he is the leader of the defense. Much like an officer in the military, he'll take the blame for the entire unit's mistake. He sees their failure as his own failure. Hard to find a guy like that these days. Most guys try to pass off blame.

Now I'm sure they iron out who's fault it really was in private though.
