Edit: Heres another interesting angle shot by a fan. I didnt know there were fireworks.

That is pretty cool. God, the party I was at went absolutely nuts after that. Too bad it was all downhill from there. :(

Yeah the bar I was at was justa madhouse after that. Actually we had three Colts fans (two girls one guy) who decided to show up to a bar in Chicago and be very obnoxious. Now, if I was in Indy for this game, I sure as hell wouldn't have gone to a bar with all Colts fans and been screaming obnoxiously. I was pretty pissed about that. Eventually security made them leave, probably for their own protection, because there was lots of angry Bears fans who started yelling at them.

Apparently many people were recording themselves at bars or at a house party to start off the game. Tons of video on their reactions of the touchdown on YouTube.

They're all awesome to watch too. This sucks. I wish they won.

I asked this yesterday but didn't get much of a reply. I was at a bar so I couldn't hear the sound, but was it really like 80/20 Bears fans to Colts fans at the game? That's what some guy who got back from the game said while being interviewed.

Maybe it's just me, but I thought the ratio was worse than 80/20 in regards to people cheering for the Bears. However, it sounded like the majority was cheering for the Colts by the end of the 3rd quarter.

One of my favorite Youtube clips was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles that wrote a song about Peyton Manning being a choker. Great times.

This has probably been said but I just realized it looking at the play by play. The turning point for me had to be when the Bears were up 14-6 and had the ball at their own 48 yard line and Benson fumbled. That was huge. Devastating.

Especially ironic considering McNabb has been called a choker as well.

Yeah, the guy was definitely taking some heat. I mean, rip on Manning if you want, but don't do it wearing an Eagles jersey.

That was huge because the Bears made it huge. I was mentally breaking down for them to put in Adrian Peterson and do what Benson does.. and then put Thomas Jones in and get a TD like he did in the NO games.

Benson didn't fumble, he was destroyed.

No doubt about it. It was a great hit by the Colts defender to knock the ball loose. If only he somehow could have held on, things could have been different.

I decided to get a set of playoff tickets from the 4 Colt playoff wins to get framed. The Super Bowl and AFC Championship tickets are off the checklist and I need to locate the tickets for the games against the Chiefs and Ravens.

FWIW I'm really looking forward to some memorabilia on nfl.com from the Super Bowl. They currently have the coin from the coin toss and a game ball from last year's SB. There is a ball from the AFC CHampionship game currently running but there's no way I'd spend what it would take.

BTW, great game Bob Sanders.

I do what I can. Oh, and sorry for nearly killing Benson.

Benson's knee injury came when his leg was bent back towards his body after he was already on the ground.

Tait and the ground was what hurt Benson.

When I saw the replay, I thought his leg bent back right before he actually was down (he landed on somebody else first, so he wasn't actually down at the beginning). Maybe I'm wrong though-I'm sure it wasn't intentional either way though.

What Super Bowl are you guys talking about? I heard nothing about the game.

The Bus finally got a ring, that's the last Super Bowl I remember.

All of that has been blocked from my memory.

I don't see why you'd have to block anything from memory, that makes it all the sweeter.

I agree to an extent, but that one really really hurt. I did my best to forget that game as soon as "he missed it".

Yeah, that 2005 Colts team was the best Colts team I have ever seen-great offense, good defense, good special teams. They just had the tragedy and then too much rest for the key people, and they took 3 quarters off and it was 1 quarter too much. That was a tough one to swallow for sure-in the playoffs, the 2006 team finally started looking somewhat like the 2005 version again.

There are some VERY cheap Grossman Super Bowl XLI jerseys on eBay.

Considering bidding on one right now for 24.99.
