First thing I'm buying if they win is that DVD. Then, hopefully, a navy SB Champs t-shirt.
I've already ordered the DVD and the Super Bowl program. Since the Bears are my favorite team and the Colts second, I'd want the DVD regardless of the outcome.

I plan on picking up a ticket stub from the Colts/Patriots game. Hopefully the Colts give me a reason to have another stub to purchase.

True-there was a lot of criticism for the Colts signing Reggie Wayne to the big deal and not signing Edgerrin. It reminded me of the Manning vs. Leaf debate, and then the why Edgerrin over Ricky Williams crowd.
And that turned out to be a moot point, because a few years later the Colts had both James and Williams.

So apparently this espn thing called Accuscore (sounds like a rip-off of a certain weather forecasting compnay :D ) has the Bears with a 39% chance of winning the game, and has the average score as 3.5 points in the Colts' advantage. My question to Bears fans is, you know this is one game that may not necessarily represent which is the better team. Would you be happy if you knew that in a completely accurate simulation, the Bears had a 40% chance of winning the Super Bowl?

The scary thing is that acuscore picked the Bears last week, while all the morons picked the Saints.

BTW... I JUST REALIZED WE HAVE ANOTHER DAMN WEEK TILL SB41.... :wall:

The Harmon Forecast uses the same software and has predicted the opposite outcome, which is weird because Harmon uses Accuscore technology.

Of course, Peyton IS prominently on the cover of SI.

Plus, he posted these in the Saints thread and it didn't seem to hurt too much.

Well there is another SI that will come out before the Super Bowl is played. The question I have is, if the Bears are featured on the cover for next week, will neither team win? Will anarchy ensue? Maybe the world will end. Who knows.

The SI cover has been denied so many times the past few years that now it is pretty much agreed that curse has moved on, and the curse already hit the Madden cover winner this year. Thankfully, Madden has never chosen Peyton to grace its cover, and hopefully never will.

No, I would not be happy with that. I think the Bears best is better than the Colts best. I understand the national media can't look past the QB's, and I don't expect them to pick us, but I believe the Bears as a team are better than the Colts as a team.

That's what OleMiss said when Brees was on the cover of SI last week. 8-)

Anyone attempt to get "Bear Down Chicago Bears" song yet?

And have the Bears left/arrived for Miami yet?

I'll be tooling around in Packerland reminding them of why their glory years are now over :P

Right now, I'd say the Bears have a 50/50 chance to win the Super Bowl. I like those odds better.

Colts away record:

Jets: 31-28, W
Broncos: 34-31, W
Pats: 27-20, W
Cowboys: 14-21, L
Titans: 17-20, L
Jags: 17-44, L
Texans: 24-27, L
Ravens: 15-6, W

The Colts won't really be "away" and remember, this team has traditionally been incredible on the road. In fact, I'm pretty sure under Dungy, the Colts home and road record is almost identical. I don't know what happened to make us lose 4 in a row like that (and btw, you forgot the Giants game), but it certainly seems to be corrected now, and the Ravens game didn't look anything like the Jags or Texans games, which were simply embarrassing.

Just pointing out that this year, they haven't been as good away from the dome as they are in it.
